You’re here in beautiful downtown Lyman with your host, Dorothy, weighing in at 143.5. This morning we’ll take a look at the traffic and weather at the top of the hour. Our top story this morning is all about that upset over at The Biggest Loser on another network. The favorite, going in with a 5 to 1 margin, was beat out by pretty much everybody else who came along. I mean, really, folks, how hard can it be for a former Diet Center Manager, a former Weight Watchers receptionist and a former DanceFit instructor to lose two and a half measly pounds in a two-month period? Talk about your drama and trauma! Well, thank goodness, she was finally voted out by her peers and we won’t have to deal with her sad story for the duration. Weather is beautiful with a temperature of 45 degrees and traffic is basically nonexistent in this little corner of southwestern Wyoming. We’ll be back after a few words from our sponsors, McDonalds, and Cream O’Weber Ice Cream. Then a word from Cache Valley Cheese. Be right back folks!

[La-dee-dah . . .]

Top national story this hour is concerning, author David Zinczenko, whose best selling book Eat This Not That has swept the nation with common sense  for your daily eating habits.

The original and best-selling installment of EAT THIS, NOT THAT! has helped literally thousands of people improve their lives by increasing their nutritional intakes while blasting away unwanted belly fat. The secret? The revolutionary concept that the battle of the bulge is won not through deprivation and discipline, but by making a series of simple food swaps that can save you hundreds – if not thousands – of calories a day.

EAT THIS, NOT THAT! is the only book that holds the food industry accountable for the surreptitious loads of sugar, fat, and sodium stuffed into foods that were once reliable sources of lean nutrition. It arms you with the savvy tricks and insider information you need to eat well in today’s dangerous food landscape. With EAT THIS, NOT THAT! you’re the expert in every eating situation, from the frozen food aisle to your favorite fast food joint to your local sports bar. You control your food universe–and lose the pounds you want–because, unlike every other customer, you’ll know the smart choices to make–instantly!

Folks, make it a good day. Signing off, this is Dorothy, saying see you tomorrow morning. Now let’s all hit the gym!
