When I think of it, there are way too many foods that can mess up an eating plan that start with C.
And there are several of them that keep messing me up. [No I’m a big girl and I can rephrase that. There are several foods that start with C that I keep eating and I mess myself up!]
I was at 140 for a bunch of days in a row. When I was at Mikelle’s house over the weekend I was right on the money and felt great. Then the very night I got home I sat down to watch the Jazz game and started eating. Not just normal eating, Big eating. Big Jazz Eating. And later on when the damage was done, I realized they all started with C. I ate cheese, crackers and cheese dip, cereal [OK, it sounds like an S — but it’s not] and then chips.
So, um, Yah.
Anyway, I didn’t really want to post about it because the next day I was way up. This morning, four days later, I’m back down to a respectable 142.5 and tomorrow is going be even better.
I’m not saying there aren’t any foods that are good that start with C. After all, there’s always
Uh huh. There are a few. I never have a problem over-eating any of these, though. You’ll never see me blogging that I totally OD’d on cabbage or celery or cauliflower. But that’s exactly what I did with those four I mentioned. I seriously was considering throwing up. I actually thought about it for a long time and finally decided against it. Thank Goodness for That!
And I just bought a two-pounder box of strawberries, some plain yogurt, cottage cheese , a couple of yams and a baker and mushrooms, so I’m all set. PLUS, I went to the dentist and had him deaden my mouth so I wouldn’t be eating anything the rest of the night.
OK. I’m kidding. I had two fillings and that’s why I’m deadened, but it’s going to be really effective at keeping me from over-eating tonight.
