wrangle me up some y.a.y.

Oh my WORLD!

I’m so excited. Try as I might to write something that’s not about weight, health, fitness or exercising, it usually, in a matter of days, heads back to my weight. But today that’s a good thing!

It’s been so long since I was in the forties! Granted it’s not very far into the forties, but I’m claiming this victory! It doesn’t matter who you are or what your number is, everybody has one. Whether it’s 160, 125, or somewhere in the middle. There’s just a place that feels good, feels healthy, feels right, feels optimal. And I’m getting closer to mine!

And I can’t help but think it’s got to have something to do with what I’ve been doing for the past ten or so days — green smoothies! More veggies, less junk. More veggies, less sugar. More veggies, less processed foods. More mindful veggies, less mindless snacking.

I seriously got a handful of walnuts to eat as a snack last night. Walnuts! It’s been a while since I enjoyed just eating them out of the bag like that without roasting, sugar coating, glazing or dipping them.

Yay!

And this morning I fit into some jeans that didn’t fit last week. They’re my old Wranglers that I loved last year. I have three pair of them and I’m going to wear them every single day!
