I’ve made a big mistake. HUGE!

I recently bought a king-size microfiber blanket for chilly winter nights. And I put it on my bed yesterday the same way that Keziah had hers on at Thanksgiving. She and Annes were kind enough to share their bed with me several nights that week. Keziah put on her bottom, fitted sheet, THEN the microfiber blanket, then the top sheet and then the bedspread. I was toasty in her bed all night long.

My own bed is now approximately 125 degrees.

Not even kidding. I got up at 11 p.m. and open my window as far as it would go. This, in the dead of winter, while it is zero, ZERO! outside. Next I stripped down to nothing. Well, I still had my unmentionables on. I went and got a fan. I went and got a huge glass of ice-cold milk.

I looked at the thermostat. 70 degrees.

Big mistake.

Even bigger? I bought two of them. One for me and one for hubby. He’s going to hate his, too.

Problem is, I turn the heat down every single day — Leonard turns it up every single day. Then he goes in his room and turns on the fan! Yes, it makes me nuts. I’m certifiable!
