next: me

This is my next project. Right after I finish reading my last two Charles Martin books I’m moving on to something a little deeper — perhaps something a little healing. I’ve heard great things about this book, but I’m just wondering if anyone recommends it.

Here’s how they describe it: Awareness and Conscious Living for Changing Beliefs, Mastering Emotions, and Creating Love and Happiness.

Gotta get me some of that! I’ll take two, please.

I’m especially drawn to the Don’t Take Anything Personally part.

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality. Their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

Mm huh. Sounds intriguing!

Oh, wait. This one sounds really interesting as well. Don’t Make Assumptions.

Find the courage to ask questions and express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement you can completely transform your life.

Oh my goodness. They are all so appealing:

Loving this:  Always do your best.

Your best is going to change from moment to moment. It will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Yup. This is definitely my next project: Me!
