two choices

I might actually be able to start posting about my weighing matters soon. In the 140’s again, FINALLY! Scott texted me the other day after I asked him what he does to fill his days. He said he lifts every day, reads, rides his bike all over Laramie, exercises, eats right and basically is taking care of things.

He has lost those 20 pounds and kept them off.

I’ve got to get on the ball.

I really do know that exercise is the key to all of this.

“There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist or accept the responsibility for changing them.”

This is going to be my new mantra for the time being!

    I love your new mantra! You can do it! It’s tough at times, I struggle with it too, but it’s focusing on the changes you know you can live with. I always made changes that I viewed as temporary and that was my downfall. I thought that once I got to x lbs I could go back to doing what I was before. And once I changed that outlook, I truly “got” it and made sustainable changes. Hang in there, one day at a time! Bad days happen, but it’s how you keep going that matter! In order to change, we must be sick and tired of being sick and tired! :)
