step up

I shared my blog at the 12-steps meeting last night. Took my new iPad and read this post [I changed it a lot. All the red is new] about what I have learned in the last year and a half. I’m completely convinced this program can help so many people and I’m sad that so few people use it. If there is one thing I could share with those who are hurting, frustrated, depressed, addicted, lost, afraid, faithless, self-destructive, compulsive and obsessive, shopaholics, abused, control freaks, angry or just plain miserable, it would be the hope and peace that one gains from sharing with and leaning on others in the same or similar situations.

Feels so good to get rid of all the garbage, baggage, bitterness, sadness and chaos.

I used to be embarrassed that I was attending these meetings and hid it from everyone. Now, I’m shouting it to the world. It’s like having a great therapist to help you through the rough spots. But, you don’t have to pay $100 an hour. It’s free.

My hope is that at least one person reading this will check it out. And change their life. Or that they will recommend it to a friend or family member they think will benefit from all this p.e.a.c.e!
