huggin’ me

I’m saying these two things over and over to myself this fine day.

Hugging is good medicine. It transfers energy and gives the person hugged an emotional lift. You need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenance and twelve for growth. Scientists say that hugging is a form of communication because it can say things you don’t have the words for. And the nicest think about a hug is that you usually can’t give one without getting one.

. . . and . . .

Take advantage of each small success. In this way you close the gap between what you want from life and what it is giving you.

Yup. Over and over.

I’ve had to take a good hard look at things and try to figure out what the heck is going on with my emotions and my stuffing. I [might] [gee, ya think?] have had a few extra triggers going on and I went straight to food for all the answers. I know that doesn’t help or solve anything, so why, WHY, do I keep heading there.

I just want this thing over and to move forward. Cuz . . .

We do not heal the past by dwelling there. We heal the past by living fully in the present!

OK, now I’m done and heading in the right direction!
