temple day!

I couldn’t sleep well last night. It’s Saturday morning and I’m awake at 4:45. What’s up with that? OK. I’ll tell you! It’s our stake temple day and I’m excited to be heading down to the Bountiful Temple and handing out names for Tracy’s family. I’m not too sure that I will be able to stay awake once inside and in the ordinance rooms. I haven’t been to the temple since September and it’s high time! But I have gone at least an average of once a month since I started going regularly last year. So that’s good, right? That’s a huge improvement. Several months early on, I went three out of four weekends in a month. Sometimes I went two days in a row or two sessions in a row.

I’m not really up to that speed again because of the fall season at school and the huge amount of games I end up scoring. In September I scored, like, twenty games. October was a little less. Fall sports are almost done. Regionals and State going on right now!

And next month my temple recommend needs to be renewed. I remember the first time that happened [20 years ago] I was so surprised. I had no idea that once you got a temple recommend that it wasn’t ‘for life.’ This year the questions are going to be so much easier. I thought about that this morning when I was still lying in bed and thinking about whether or not I should really get up before five o’clock on a Saturday morning. I’m not dreading the interview. I’m OK with the process.

Time to get a move on!

PS: Where the heck has the spell check button gone?
